Brash Young Turks Movie Trailer

Brash Young Turks was able to secure funding through various grants from charities and organizations that support the development of new talent. We also received a tremendous amount of in-kind support from equipment hire companies to Oscar winning post-production houses, who all believed in the project. Brash Young Turks was developed with an eclectic mix of seasoned professionals and emerging talent. The story was created through intense improvisation workshops with young people at a youth center in London.

BRASH YOUNG TURKS tells the intertwining stories of a new breed of daring young go-getters who fight against oppression, greed and prejudice in order to pursue their dreams. This is the debut British feature from award winning filmmaking brothers NAEEM & ASH MAHMOOD that promises to breathe new life into the urban genre.

The film stars JULIAN GLOVER (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Empire Strikes Back, For Your Eyes Only), TOM BOTT (Shank), CHARLES MNENE (Misfits), ANNABELLE LANYON (Legend), ANNIE COOPER (Kick Ass) and an array of new talent. It has been produced by TRANSIENT FILM EXCHANGE - a Social Enterprise set up after winning the Prince's Trust Millennium Award which works primarily with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
