There are many formulas in the Financial Template and there are also many fields where you will have to manually enter your own numbers. For specifics, please see the Film Finance Projections Template screenshots. Per the instructions, the yellow cells must be manually entered with specific numbers, and we teach you where to find this information in our Film Financing and Investor Manual.
Our products are designed for individual movies. It’s entirely possible to change them to fit a slate of movies, as they are completely customizable, but the templates “out of the box” are designed to raise funds for one movie. We find most of our clients are looking to raise funds on their own, without a tax or legal professional with whom to consult, are usually raising funds for one film at a time.
As far as we know, an investment is an investment, in any country. Things like ROI don’t change in any country or language. However, all of our financial templates refer to Domestic as the USA and Foreign as everything but the USA. You may adjust the templates to suit your purposes, but our Indie Film Database follows the previous outline of domestic vs foreign and we do not break out film sales by territory. Our PPM is meant only for the US – we don’t know fundraising rules or the equivalent of SEC rules in every country – so we recommend you contact your attorney or accountant for clarity.
The Revenue Projections Service is a 1x only service and must be repurchased for each set of revenue projections. As you can imagine, there is time, effort, resources and specific templates used in each report run. Our negotiated pricing reflects a one-time use of these services and resources. You can use 10 comps or 20 comps, depending on which package you purchase, but the reports are run one time only for each purchase of this service.
Our best financing packages are not determined by genre or run time. Budget and the location of your investors are the determining factors. If you are not sure, start with our Gold Toolkit. If you know you want professional financial projections, start with the Gold Bundle w/ Financials. If you know your US investors will be passive, potentially in multiple states, try the PPM bundle or Platinum bundle.
